Manager of Clinical Services and Certified Athletic Therapist

Stacey Bulat is a Certified Athletic Therapist who graduated from the University of Manitoba and certified with the Canadian Athletic Therapist Association in 2009. In 2014 she certified in anatomical Acupuncture. Prior to joining the Vital Life team she owned a successful Athletic Therapy clinic in Winnipeg. Stacey continues to learn; developing and sharing her skills and knowledge with her clients and as a mentor to students.

Stacey is also a Red Cross First Aid and CPR instructor and medical coordinator for Hockey Manitoba. She has worked with a vast variety of sports, mainly in hockey for the past 9 years and continues to be the Athletic Therapist with the U16 Men's Manitoba team. Previously she has been the Head Therapist for Team West in the U17 World Hockey Challenge, the AAA Winnipeg Wild and did a internship with the NHL's New York Rangers.

Recently, Stacey traveled to Prince George, BC as a sponsored Athletic Therapist for the 2015 Canada Winter Games. She has also been selected to work the 2015 FIFA Women's World Cup in Winnipeg, and the 2015 Pan Am Games in Toronto.

Stacey believes that a major role in rehabilitation is client education of their own injuries, as well as addressing all aspects of their lifestyle. She is also certified in Kinesio Taping and Functional Movement Screening.

In her spare time she enjoys snowboarding, swimming, ultimate frisbee and reading. She hopes one day to be a member of the medical staff for the Canadian Olympic Team.
