Laura Derkach has been working in the long term disability field for over 17 years, focusing on vocational rehabilitation with Vital Life for the past 10 years. Ms. Derkach's educational background includes obtaining a diploma in Nursing, currently registered with the province of Saskatchewan, additionally achieving current designations as a Registered Vocational Professional (RVP) and a Registered Community Support Specialist (RCSS).
The experience working at Vital Life has allowed Ms. Derkach to become exceptionally skilled in vocational rehabilitation and disability management, specifically focusing on early intervention with a focus on mental health illness.

Ms. Derkach's expertise includes vocational rehabilitation management, disability management, mental health illness claims, job search support, transferable skills analysis and early intervention.

Ms. Derkach is the Senior Consultant of Vital Life's Saskatchewan team, and enjoys providing support, training and mentoring to the team members.
Ms. Derkach is a strong believer of work-life balance, recently developing a new career with her spouse and family in the agriculture industry. With the love of agriculture, the outdoors and nature, Ms. Derkach is looking forward to taking on this new career challenge with her family.
