Laura graduated from the University of Saskatchewan with a Bachelor's Degree in Education. Ms. Riffel then went on to further her professional career in Special Education. She embraced 19 years of successful, strong, positive leadership roles throughout the Saskatchewan Education System. Her strengths are in the areas of case management, crisis intervention, program development, behavioural management, and mental health. Laura is currently working towards a Master's Degree in Counselling Psychology. Her natural passion in life is creating an open door to bring healing and health to people who have been through a traumatic or stressful experience.

Laura genuinely understands that no single approach is the right one for every individual. She is most definitely outgoing and truly enjoys working together with all parties to set attainable goals and achieve them. Her in-depth interaction and experience includes working with Clients, Directors, Employers, Human Resources Personnel, Counselors, Psychologists, Doctors, Members at Large, Union Representatives, Addictions Counselors, Physiotherapists, Elders, Police Officers and Corrections Officers. She specializes in all areas of return to work planning, TSA (transferable skills analysis), long/short term disability, employment counselling, job skills training, and early intervention.

Laura loves spending time with her husband Brad, three sons; Dylan, Brody and Mitch. She is very athletic and values the benefits, specifically of Yoga and Spin biking. Laura is actively involved in the community, some activities include; teaching certified cooking classes and coaching competitive club volleyball. Additionally, Laura holds a regular volunteer position as Public Outreach Coordinator for Al-Anon in Saskatoon, Sk.
